Homework
Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday in the areas of math, language arts. Please make sure students are reading a minimum of twenty minutes per night. It should take about 50 minutes to complete homework each night-- including the reading. Homework should be completed and returned to school daily. Although 5th graders need support at home, homework is the responsibility of the student and he/she will be held accountable for the work. Students are expected to write assigned work in school agenda every day. Parents, please check your child's agenda every night for new assignments and/or notes. The agenda is a great way to help teach organization.
Homework will be updated in a timely manner. Be sure to check the agenda just in case homework is updated based on what is learned in class.
